  • Who is Strax Capital Legal Limited?
    We are a regulated claims management company specialising in financial mis-selling claims. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  • Can I lose my claim?
    Claims handled by Strax Capital Legal Limited are not litigation and hence, in the event that your claim is unsuccessful then you have no liability to Strax Capital Legal Limited or the party with which the claim is for.
  • How do I know if I am eligible to make a claim?
    Our investment experts will discuss your case with you over the telephone to try and establish your circumstances at the time you made the investment. If you lost money and the risks were not properly explained there is a good chance you may be entitled to make a claim. In most circumstances we can tell you over the phone, after the initial discussion, if we think you should submit a claim.
  • What documents do I need?
    Once we are able to determine whether there is a valid claim, we will go through the documents we need from you and the documents we will obtain from the lender.
  • I don't have any paperwork, can you still help?"
    Yes – The paperwork relating to your investment is important but if you do not have it we can usually obtain a large amount of the paperwork from your bank directly, so you can still make a claim.
  • What if I have problems completing your documents?
    Our team will go through with you every step of the way in completing the documents.
  • How long does it all take?
    For us to submit your claim, the time is determined by how quickly we can get the documents needed. From the point we submit your claim, it will approximately take 6 months.
  • Can you confirm if our claim will be submitted as an individual claim or as part of a group?
    Each claim is specific to the individual client as each client has different investments and circumstances which need to be reflected in the claim.
  • Is there a limited timeframe available to have our case considered?
    On legal principles there is a timeframe of 3 years from the date of knowledge i.e. the time that you were made aware of, to make a claim against Fuel for mortgage and investment mis-advice. This time would commence when you started speaking to us.
  • What is it going to cost me?
    We do not charge any upfront fees and work on a no win no fee basis i.e. only if we recover compensation will we charge you a fee. Please see the Fees page in the navigation bar for full details.
  • How will any compensation get paid out?
    The Regulator or the Party we are making a complaint against will pay compensation directly into your chosen bank account or they may pay you by cheque. Once you have received the money, you will need to pay our invoice within 7 days.
  • Why should I use Strax Capital Legal?
    We have a proven track record in settling financial mis-selling claims. Our team have the necessary expertise to put together the strongest possible case for mis-selling, giving you the best chance of a successful outcome.
  • Can I do it myself?
    Strax Capital Legal is a claims management company. You do not need to use a claims management company to make your complaint to your bank. If your complaint is not successful you can refer to the financial ombudsman service for free.
