Allan McRoberts, based out of Glasgow and trading as AM Wealth Management Services, had four complaints upheld regarding Harlequin SIPP investments.
The Harlequin group were a group of companies that marketed and developed speculative investment properties such as hotel rooms in Caribbean resorts. The group was owned by Mr David Ames and in total impacted 6,000 investors.
Allan McRoberts advised clients to transfer pensions into a Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), that then invested in investments including Harlequin.
