The Mortgage Matters Partnership declared in default by FSCS

The Mortgage Matters Partnership was a mortgage and insurance broker authorised by the FCA. It was previously told by the FCA to offer clients redress due to issues regarding mortgage consolidation advice it had given between 2007 and 2014.


The Mortgage Matters Partnership was declared in default on 31st January 2019.


Complaints related to unsuitable mortgage advice and Payment Protection Insurance against The Mortgage Matters Partnership have been upheld. Mortgage Solutions reported in September 2018 that 95% of complaints against The Mortgage Matters Partnership were upheld. This at the time was the highest for the financial services industry.
