Adviser of British Steel pension transfers John Dyer (Life & Pensions) enters liquidation

John Dyer (Life & Pensions) entered liquidation. John Dyer had been involved in advising pension transfers for members the British Steel Pension Scheme to Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs).


Patrick O'Brien of BPO Insolvency Ltd has been appointed to deal with the case.


John Dyer was based at 100 Walter Road, Swansea SA1 5QE. According to Professional Advisor (PA), one of it's directors, Wayne Stronach, has moved next door, working for Watermark Financial Planning, where he will continue to advise previous clients.


PA also reported that John Dyer had no claims at the time it went into liquidation, however, was one of the firms visited by the Financial Conduct Authority in 2017.
